Tuner adds 100bhp and more wings

Ordered a standard spec Carrera? Take it to Porsche tuning expert TechArt, which has developed a new upgrade package that adds more aero, drama, and horsepower, thanks to its Techtronic powerkit.
Specifically, it adds 108 more horsepower, boosting its 3.0-litre flat-six from 389bhp to 497bhp - just six shy of the 4.0-litre GT3. Notably, the package provides the Carrera with 74lb ft more torque than its more aggressive sibling, and although no 0-62mph time is given, anticipate the Carrera’s original 4.1s to edge closer to the GT3’s 3.4s.
Moreover, TechArt states that the package isn’t exclusive to the entry-level Carrera: the ‘S’ and the ‘GTS’ can also benefit, experiencing similar output increases. Given that the hybridised GTS already delivers a robust 535bhp, TechArt’s modifications could push it beyond 640. Impressive.
The images provided appear to be based on the GTS, indicated by those opening front bumper flaps. TechArt has added a redesigned lower lip to direct more air into those openings, with the body kit seamlessly flowing around the base of the car. This setup will be crafted from either carbon or fibreglass.

The lower side of the bonnet features a few integrated vents, highlighted by a strip of black paint extending to the roofline. The rear diffuser includes additional chevrons for enhanced downforce and houses larger aftermarket sports exhausts that are positioned closer together than the standard ones. And who doesn't appreciate a ducktail?
Pricing remains undisclosed, but TechArt indicates that most of these components are currently available for order, so why order for a GT3?
