Lotus Emira Clark Edition

New £115k model celebrates 60 years since Jim Clark's last Formula 1 world championship

The Lotus Emira Clark Edition has been unveiled to honor the legendary racing driver Jim Clark.

Derived from the top-tier Emira V6, it boasts the ‘Clark Racing Green’ and yellow-striped livery that adorned the Scotsman’s race cars during his iconic 1965 season, when he clinched the Formula 1 World Championship and the Indy 500, as well as other international series.

Inside, the Clark Edition Emira features a two-tone black and bright-red upholstery, with the red color exclusively on the driver’s side, paying homage to the interiors of Lotus’s historic race cars.

A piece of the Clark family tartan (from Lochcarron of Scotland) is incorporated into a commemorative plaque on the seat’s headrest.

The standard metal gearknob in the regular Emira has been replaced with a wooden one.

Additionally, the sill treadplates are now made of carbon fiber, indicating the car’s place in the production run of 60 Clark Editions—a number selected to commemorate the 60 years since the 1965 season.

On the exterior the exhaust pipes are painted in the same yellow, echoing the design used on the Lotus 38 in which he triumphed at Indianapolis.

The Clark Edition retains the same mechanics as a standard Emira V6, featuring a 3.5-litre supercharged engine that delivers 399bhp to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This special edition also includes the Lotus Driver’s Pack, which is optional on the regular Emira and offers stiffer sports suspension, an adjustable exhaust, and a Track driving mode.

Prices begin at £115,000.
