Brabus AMG GT 63 '1,000'

0-60 Quicker than McLaren W1

Brabus has unveiled a more extreme version of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, dubbed the ‘1000’, this means its twin-turbo hybrid V8 engine generates exactly 986bhp, or 1,000PS.

Another impressive figure is the 1,195lb ft of torque, enabling Brabus' version of the 2+2, four-wheel drive super coupe to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 2.6 seconds. This makes it quicker off the line than the new McLaren W1 hypercar and a 198mph limiter.

The exterior features generous use of carbon fibre for added drama, including on the front splitter, nostrils, and wheel arches, as well as the mirror covers and rear diffuser. Final touches consist of a 76mm stainless steel quad-exhaust, 21/22in 10-spoke forged alloys, and a sleek rear wing.

The color palette is quite striking, isn't it? The gloss black finish is highlighted by red brake calipers, and the AMG GT's body sits 20mm lower to the ground due to height-adjustable sports springs.

The interior follows a similar theme, featuring beautifully quilted leather upholstery with a flying saucer-like pattern. The center console is enhanced with additional carbon, and Brabus logos are present on the headrests and steering wheel. The red hue inside appears even more vibrant than the exterior, truly making the cabin stand out.

The pricing details are currently undisclosed and are expected to vary significantly based on the finishes. However, it's worth noting that the less powerful Brabus ‘750’ already begins at a staggering £262k.
